The 17th of October 2015 already second time in the history 4 hunting clubs „Jeleń” Barwice, „Oręż” Smołdzięcino, „Szarak” Połczyn and „Sokół” Koszalin arranged an integration hunting for all hunting clubs members.
All hunters and invited guests met each other on the morning meeting, where they chose cards with the name of the hunting clubs, they were meant to hunt the whole day. All together there were 106 hunters, who participated in the second integration hunting.
After the last drive we kept a common presentation, where the hunting king was chosen and gifts with medals were given out. All hunting clubs were gathered around a common initiative, where they offered a cash woucher to an orphanage in Drawsko Pomorskie.
The last drive, according to the Polish tradition and hunting customs found place at a common meal, that was organised and provided by „Oręż” Smołdzięcino hunting club in a guesthouse Mała Wenecja in Smołdzięcino.

With a slight delay we would like to present a short report from the 90th anniversary of the Hunting Club Zdrój Ciechocinek which took place on the 5th of September 2015.
The whole anniversary celebration has started with a holy mass in a church of the Apostles Peter and Paul during which the holy banner has been given. Due to the fact, that our Company cooperates with a Hunting Club Zdrój Ciechocinek during organization of individual hunting events we were honoured to become a „Godmother” of the banner. After the church mass and renewal of the hunting vows we took part in a procession to the Spa Park, where the anniversary celebrations has been continued. The representatives of other local Hunting Clubs, the brass band and many other invited guests took also part in a procession. Our march attracted an interest among spa visitors.
During the ceremony in the Spa Park the banner was officially passed to the representatives of the Hunting Club together with medals. The official part of the celebration was accompanied by 1.5 hour concert of the Hunting Association Representative Orchestra directed by Mr. Leśniczak.
The award given to our company was the first of its kind. We are very happy with it and we look forward to a very successful cooperation with the other local Hunting Clubs in the coming season.
The hunting season for red deer stag in 2015 is finished. This year was an exceptional year as it regards the number of the hunters and the quality of the trophies. Compering the number of shot game with the number of hunters we can state, that 100% of our customers left with a trophy. The average weight of all red deer stag trophies was 6 kg and above. The sizes of the antlers did not reflect their actual weight. It turned out twice, that the weight of the antlers exceeded 9,5 kg.
This year one of our customers did beat the record of our Company – this trophy was 10,15 kg. This is so far the biggest stag shot by our Customers. The weight of this trophy was10,90 kg when it was still wet.
We hope that next year the season will be also so successful!
This year's XV. DARZ BOR hunting meetings took place between the 28-29th of August 2015 in the beautiful wellness park in Połczyn Zdrój.
Hot weather and variety of exhibitors attracted crowds of tourists and visitors.
Organizers did their best to provide professional service and a huge variety of exhibitions.
This important hunting celebrity was full of competitions, exhibitions and shows.
The place that was recommended to visit was a personal exhibition of medals, key chains, badges, stamps, hunting emblems belonged to the hunting enthusiast Karol Utrata, who is a member of a Hunting Club “Sokół” Świdwin.
Hunters’ march with banners belonging to their hunting clubs through the streets of Połczyn Zdrój made a great impression on visitors.
As every year, our Company participated actively in this festival, donating, among other things 3 gifts for the winners of the shooting competition.
As it was predicted in the season 2015 sale of roe buck hunting based on fixed-price offers has increased. Compared with last year's season fixed prices has been notably reduced. Danish hunters are still the most popular group among all Customers coming for roe bock hunting to Poland.
The possibilities of communication and exchange of information between foreign hunters are almost unlimited. Most of them know the Polish hunting areas and it’s potential very well. It is hard to get a good price in hunting areas which offer smaller of significant worse trophies.
Market based rules entered a decisive step into a hunting reality and will cause a hard times for the hunting organizers. The very best times are passed.
In this pessimistic perspective, almost all of our partners from the hunting clubs retained their common sense and were flexible while prices negotiations – thanks to it they managed to sell the whole offer.
Our hunting agency has sold 100% of the offer, sometimes we were forced to repeat hunting at the same hunting club and thereby the whole offer has been sold. We were also able to start an encouraging cooperation with some new hunting clubs. We know, however, that many hunting clubs did not sell their offer at all.
Despite the soft winter antlers were quite weak, although in hunting areas close to Bydgoszcz, Torun our customers managed to get medal trophies. This year a record weight of the trophy shot by our Customers has been bet - netto weight of the antlers 630 g! Congratulations to the hunter and to the hunting area, that could deliver this trophy.
The last weekend of June has became a permanent event in our calendar, in which we actively participate and which we co-organize. As always, every year for 4 years in row together with Military Hunting Club Cyranka Świdwin we co-organize a hunting exhibition on the Air Picnic, which takes place at the Air Base in Świdwin. It was the 5th picnic in row, we took part for the 4th time.
Our exhibition attracted a lot of people and had a great interest and popularity. This year, it has been enriched by an exhibition of the awarded hunting photographs made by Radek Dominowski, a member of the Hunting Club Żbik Budowo. Hunting Club Daniel Bialogard has supported us logistically and culinary by preparing an exhibition of hunting trophies and homemade snacks made of wild meat.
Each of the guests could also taste the homemade lard and watch a movie about the hunting traditions in Poland. The youngest visitors could take part in some hunting quiz and each were treated with a candy.
The event this year exceeded our expectations. Tactical flight shows and an exhibition of an air force equipment with paragliders attracted many visitors – as every year. We are already full of ideas and look forward to a picnic in the next year.
Once again in our 20-year history of our Company existence, our representatives decided to participate in the Jagd & Hund hunting fair in Dortmund. We decided to visit it on Saturday the 07.02.2015, when the biggest attractions are provided to the largest number of the visitors.
On the surface area of 50,000 m², more than 80 thousand visitors had a chance to experience a wide range of purchasing offer and had the opportunity to get familiar with the latest trends in tourism, hunting equipment and accessories. More than 800 exhibitors provided wide range of products, where everyone - even the youngest – were able to find something interesting for them.
The area was divided into 8 exhibition halls, each presented a different industry branch, one of them regarded hunting dogs - everything what our pupils need, second hall presented a wide range of weapons and optics, where everyone could try a target shooting, a wide range of clothing and accessories brand products, travel agencies, and for the bravest an exhibition of 4x4 jeeps with the possibility of trying them out through the obstacles and horizontal driving platforms.
Reverberating sounds of the hunting music, fantastic hunting cuisine, homemade specialties, fine wines and local beers are - in addition with a numerous exhibitions, competitions and presentations – the greatest advantage of this worldwide hunting fair.
Next year we will be there again! Maybe next time we will convince colleagues from the local hunting clubs to take a part in this even as well.
For the 14 in the history of our company Artemis existence we’ve participated in the fourteenth Euroregional Hunting Meetings Darz Bor in Połczyn Zdrój. This time, our participation has been focused not only on the co-organization of shooting competition but especially on the celebrations of the 60th anniversary of the Hunting Club "Knieja Góry.
During the ceremonial mass in the Church of the Blesses Virgin Mary in Połczyn Zdrój the ancient of the Hunting Club has been investitured and sacrifices, representatives of our Company as sponsors of the flag hammered a nail with our name into the spar.
The ceremony was accompanied by the parade of representatives of all hunting clubs participating in the meeting.
Celebrating of the XI-th meetings was full of attractions, such as demonstrations of the hunting dogs, culinary competitions, the best tincture and a concert of the band "2 + 1".
Unfortunately we were not able to participate in the concert. We have been invited to the ball connected with the private ceremony of the investiture of the flag to the Hunting Club “Knieja” Góry. In the beautiful outdoors we celebrated those moments and dance evening lasted until late at night.
On Saturday the 28th of June "Świdwin Air Picnic 2014" took place. Our Company was invited by the co-organizers of the event - Hunting Club "Cyranka" Świdwin.
As every year, the picnic program has provided many attractions like static and dynamic demonstrations of the aircraft Su-22, Mig 29, CASA C-295M, An-28 B1R, helicopter SH-2G "Kaman", Mi-24, Mi-14GB, W-3RM, Mi2 and other aircraft that Polish Forces are equipped with. Fans of military could enjoy the exhibitions with the military equipment, sales stand of the military, shows of the reconstruction groups.
Picnic was also a tribute to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the airplanes Su-22 in Polish Air Force. Thank you for the invitation - although brief rain, the picnic was very successful and dynamic demonstrations of aircraft were breathtaking.
The picture above shows one of the most beautiful trophies shot by our hunters in season 2014, however, as it was predicted interest in hunting of roe bucks is constantly decreasing.
Number of the hunters from Denmark visiting our country compared to last year remained at a similar level, but the market is a downward trend. Hunters from Germany and Belgium hunting in our country for roe bucks are quite rare, since roe deer population in these countries is growing as well as the quality of the trophies - where they are already comparable with the Polish.
Hunters decide to come in the second period of the May or during the mating time, when the size of the trophies is much bigger. The thing that worries and perhaps dominates the market in the future is the so-called fixed price offer. Sometimes the price is being built as an ultimatum, and the only solution. The quality of trophies is not always comparable to the fixed price offer, but many of the hunters still decide to drive longer distance in order to get a medal trophies and fulfil their dreams of "this" one special roe buck!
This season we’ve satisfied 100% og all hunting clubs cooperating with our Company. We have the satisfaction of starting cooperation with new hunting clubs! This year Żuławy and Kujawy areas were the best! Medal trophies = satisfied customers! Hunting clubs located at these areas had to consider the dilemma – to sell hunting at a cheaper price or not to sell it at all. Negotiation and common sense of the organizers in these areas allowed to make the final result successful. The quality of trophies was much better than last year. Many of the trophies were more than 500g netto - especially those shot in a mating time.
The situation of hunting areas located close to the border (West Pomeranian region) was different – they were not flexible enough to sell the offer at a lower price - many of them waited until the last minute and did not decide to sell the offer - likely hoping for better income from driven hunts.
Pictures above show the new trend - hunting combined with holiday. Many of the hunters positively accepted our offer - where the pleasure of the hunt is combined with the common recreation, barbecue, exploring the area, as well as the health and beauty treatments! Our guides were able to provide a good service not only for hunters but for their wives, children and grandchildren by organizing leisure and attractions in their free time!
Each guest is the reason for the constant improvement of our service. For the first time in 3-year history of our accommodation we have taken the challenge by organizing an outdoor party in our garden for 60 people! The delegation of former residents of Drawsko Pomorskie from Germany and invited guests allowed us to prove our possibilities.
The party proved to be an successful logistical event! Guests were thrilled! It was just not enough of time and "health" to end with the evening dances!
Everyone interested in the possibility of outdoor events with a tasty barbecue are welcome to our garden! A good weather is always in the package for our guests!
Our hunting lodge became this year also an accommodation for the football team "Drawa" Drawsko players. Twice this year we had the opportunity to host the players during the summer and winter grouping! Our location - close to the sport facilities, where the training and sparring took place, our contribution to ensuring the best possible service both in the hotel and in the garden brought the success - in the previous season, our local team was on first place in the table, and after organizational changes and staffing slowly climbs towards the top of being number 7!
Before the beginning of the driven hunting season we were concerned about the state of the wild boar population. Deep snows and hard frosts in February-March caused the decrease of almost 100% of the first generation of piglets. Litters in May/June were not so numerous.
At the presentations the most numerous were wild boar with a weight range of 60-80 kg and piglets with weight range of 15-20 kg.
Such a situation is not optimistic for the next season 2014/15.
The number of shoot sows this year was too high which will be essential while stating of shooting plans, also the quality of the animals at the presentations will be worse.
The situation with a population of red deer is much better.
Number of red deer population has been growing for the last few years. Trophies of stags are medal and the weight is very often around 9 kg.
The majority of our hunting groups was pleased with the results of hunting and decided to make a booking for the coming season.
This year's hunting meeting Darzbór took place in Połczyn Zdrój for the 13th time. For the 13th time we have tried to support financially and organizationally those important days of hunters. This year we’ve invited to Połczyn an excellent band playing a hunting music called Hubertus from Kwidzyń. The hegemony of shooters from Koszalin area has been broken and rewards funded by our Company in the shooting competition have left to Poznań.
29th of June 2013, "Artemis" Sp. z o.o. had again the pleasure to attend and arrange Air Picnic Show in Świdwin. The event was combined with the celebration of the 60th anniversary of the Air Garrison in Świdwin. The picnic was attended by about 20 thousand of participants. One of the main attractions was a static and dynamic show of aircraft Su-22 and Mig-29, Casa C-295, Mi-24 and W-3, as well as a presentation of hardware and equipment of the Special Forces, the Border Guard, the Fire Service and the Police. Fans of a military could find various attractions like an exhibition of equipment or trade stands.
The show was diversified by BMW Drift Świdwin with possibility to take a ride with experienced drivers.
"Artemis" Sp. z o.o. in cooperation with the Hunting Club "Cyranka” Świdwin and company "Trop" from Drawsko Pomorskie has prepared a hunting stand. The theme of the stand was the 60th anniversary of existence of the Hunting Club "Cyranka" Świdwin and the 90th anniversary of the Polish Hunting Association. We enjoyed the huge number of visitors interested in hunting, hunting trophies and history of hunting in Poland.
Air Picnic is a great opportunity to promote and popularize hunting. A huge diversity of the air show causes, that it is going to be a cyclical event in our calendar.
Roe buck hunting in May is over. In May 2013 we have noticed the decrease of interest in the roe buck hunting in Poland. The reason is not only in the economic crisis in Europe.
Government ruled hunting areas in Germany became very competitive.
They offer a few thousand of roe buck at a fixed price of 150 € without the weight limit, additionally free shooting of pigs with the possibility to take meet home free of charge.
No wonder, that those hunting areas became popular and are more often visited by hunters from Belgium, Netherlands, and also from Denmark.
Our Danish partners stated beside that, that hunting in Poland became just boring for many of the Danish hunters.......
It's a bad prognosis for the future!
Season in May, despite the 15 % decrease of the number of shot roe buck, we found as a quite successful. Despite hard and long winter roe buck trophies were quite strong and among them 21 pieces were nominated to receive a medal.
Music of hunting dogs, sounds of hunting signals, shouting of drivers and a sound of gunshots - Unfortunately- it's all over now.
All emotions are kept in the memories: the experience of successful and not successful shots, longing for the atmosphere of time spent in nature, long evening conversations.
What can we say about this year’s season?
Regarding organization and colleagueship – it has been a very successful one.
Regarding hunting results in contradiction– the season was a little bit worse in comparison with the last year’s one.
Smaller number of wild boar was noticed at the presentations.
On the other hand – we had excellent results of red and roe deer.
Since 2-3 we have noticed an increase of red deer population as well as the quality of trophies has been much better. It was noticeable in all of our hunting areas.
Hunting season started very early last year - the 19th-21st of October 2012 with a group of 15 Polish hunters- our friends. The weather was almost like in summer, the final result was 6 red deer (including red deer stag with a trophy 7.5 kg) and 46 wild boar.
Season ended with several hunting organized in January 2013, which were also very successful.
Our customers have already booked almost all hunting areas for the season 2013/14.
Each hunter waits for that specific hunting period the whole year.
There is nothing more exiting and comparable with the unique scenery of red deer stags competing for red deer hinds attention. Autumns’ chillness, meadows covered with fog and a thrilling concert of randy stags makes a big impression on everybody.
This beauty of nature performance is unfortunately finished.
As every year, our Customers – foreign hunters managed to get almost 100% of their wished trophies. Two of them received gold medal, additionally four got silver and four – bronze medals.
Economical crisis in Europe has its’ influence on hunting.
This year our Company had bit less bookings in comparison with last year.
From the 28th till 29th of September 2012 the official end of motorcycle season organized by S.F.O.R.A. Poland Riders took place in Drawno.
On the way to season closing meeting our friends- motorbikes fans from Elbląg visited.
These wonderful young men (and their girlfriends) on their magnificent machines raised a huge interest.
In the period from 31st of August to 1st of September 2012 XII Euroregional Hunting Meeting called "Darz Bór" took place in Połczyn Zdrój.
Organizers moved the event from the town square to the Spa Park, which was a great idea and what created a great hunting atmosphere. As every year a "Tournament of Połczyn Zdrój Short gun” took a place, where our company is sponsor form the early beginning. Traditionally Artemis awarded the best shooters in the youngest and oldest age category as well as a person, who took the 13th place.
Our Company was also among the exhibitors presenting a wide range of the best brands of clothes for hunters, hunting equipment and accessories available in our shop in Drawsko Pomorskie.
One of the main attractions was a march of a representatives of all Hunting Clubs with color hunting flags through Połczyn Zdrój streets accompanied by the sound of youth brass band.
In the building of the "Podhale" hotel it was possible to visit exhibitions of Hunting Clubs, admire excellent hunting paintings and wonderful nature photography. An additional attraction was academic seminars, performances of musical groups, concert of Koszalin Philharmonic Orchestra as well as culinary and tinctures competition.
In our opinion this year's "Darz Bór" hunting meetings were accompanied by a great interest and was a wonderful promotion of Polish hunting.
Our hunting lodge is worth visiting not only because of great location which ensures peace and comfort of stay but also have a spacious, beautiful garden, which at this time of year is especially attractive. The entertainment playground for the youngest guests, barbecue and campfire, possibility of sitting under a covered arbor will certainly make warm, summer evening more pleasant. During the day you can relax on a lounger in blissful silence, because garden is located away from the road and around there are meadows, woods and a pond where the frogs start their concert in the evening...

We sponsor many of them, where we at the same time promote Polish culture in Europe, deliberately cultivating the habits and hunting traditions common for Poland.
Short, May season for roe buck hunting is finished now. Despite the European economic crisis our Company has sold all May roebuck offers. Our Customers (totally 186 hunters) managed to get the result presented below - divided into weights: Up to 149g - 48 pcs 150g-199g - 107 pcs 200g-249g - 164 pcs 250g - 299g - 228 pcs 300g - 349g - 138 pcs 350g - 399g - 62 pcs 400g - 449g - 39 pcs 450g - 499g - 7 pcs 500g - 549g - 2 pcs 550g - 600g - 1 pcs

As usual the group of hunters mostly was represented by Danish hunters and in comparison with the 2011 season the trophies were bit better.
Last weekend, on the 30th of June 2012 in 21st Tactical base of air force in Świdwin an “Air Picnic” took place. Our Company was invited by the Military Hunting Club “Cyranka” Świdwin to take part in this event in order to promote hunting ideas. Members of the Military Hunting Club “Cyranka” Świdwin are also soldiers of military air force that’s why they were involved in the organization of this Picnic. The main attractions were demonstrations of dynamic fighters - the older ones (such as the Su-22) and present ones (MiG-29). These and other military aircraft and helicopters could be seen on static display (Casa C-295, Mil Mi-14PŁ, Kaman SH-2G, Lim-2). There was also plenty of military ground-based attractions (exhibitions, performances of the orchestra, shows of different brands of cars, motorcycle shows.) Our Company also had an exhibition – we presented hunting accessories available in our hunting shop - professional hunting clothes and accessories (like stands, chairs, etc.).
The event was very successful! We hope that next year we will have the opportunity to participate in the Picnic as well.

I must admit, that Alex and I had a perfectly organized roe buck hunting. We were accommodated by lovely people, from the first moment we felt like members of this family, we felt like coming back home after few months of absent. Hunting area was full of animals, only high corn made the save shoot more difficult. Anyway, thanks to experienced Polish stalkers, we’ve managed to get wished result. We already booked this area for next year hunting. Below you’ll find pictures – number 1 – wrongly taken shoot – a very good hunting dog traced the wounded animal for about 400m and found it lying in the grass. Picture number 2 – a very nice roe buck which was shot down from the high-seat the last evening.

Hunting Fair in Dortmund: "Jagd und Hund"
Each year we promote the Polish traditions and Polish model of hunting at the annual International Hunting Fair: "Jagd und Hund" in Dortmund. We establish contacts with reputable producents of hunting accessories and ammunition, bringing the market innovations and new trends to our hunting shop in company's headquarter in Drawsko Pom.
Through contacts with the organizers of the hunting expeditions in other countries, we will soon be able to offer our Polish customers opportunity to participate in hunting for elk, muntjac. Information about the news will be regularly posted on our website.
Dr Jan Oset’s International Hunting Dogs’ Competition in Przechlewko
Each year "Artemis" Sp. z o. o. attends a 2-days, international competition of hunting dogs organized by the Local Hunting Association in Słupsk. International guests from the whole Europe, professional organization, excellent atmosphere and great people are only few reasons why we come back to this place and sponsor different grants for participants.
Performances by local folk groups
During the hunting events, we organize for our clients we strive to provide as many attractions as possible. One way is to organize meetings with local folklore groups, which represent traditional costumes, dances and songs. In addition, thanks to the cooperation with the jewelry artists, painters and we organize different hunting exhibitions.

Hunting courses for foreign hunters
In 2010, in cooperation with the Danish hunting travel agency Field and Forest and hunting clubs: "Dzik" Drawsko, "Szarak" Połczyn Artemis Sp. Z o.o. organized a course for young, foreign hunters. During the 4-day course they learned about the structure of Polish hunting, Polish traditions, forest management, collecting information about age estimation for roebuck in Poland. Danish hunters along with their Polish stalkers learned about the way of preparation of the trophies, safety rules during the morning and evening hunt.
In his spare they had possibility to admire the nature and touristic values of the area.
